In this section we allow GameRanger the minimum network permissions to work properly with Vegas 2, that all games would generally need to work online. There may be an option that says Manage when you right-click the game in your Steam library which should show an option to view the local files/install folder. The folder that is opened is the game's install location. If you don't know where it's located then find the game in your Steam library list of installed games > right-click the game > click Properties > click local files > then there should be an option to view the game's install folder if not already viewing it. If there isn't an install path/location shown or it's somehow incorrect then click on Browse as shown in the picture and select the game's program file(R6Vegas2_Game.exe) wherever it is located on your PC.The install path/location shown in this image is a common location for the game to be installed. Just make sure on the lower right it shows the correct install location of the game which should be correct since it's detecting a game install at all, but it's always good to double-check. The game name should be in bold black letters which means it's detecting the game. From the Options screen, in the Games tab, scroll down till you find Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (it's in alphabetical order). After creating/signing into an account, from the main GameRanger screen click on Edit on top of the app window > select Options on the bottom of the list.Launch GameRanger and either create a new account or sign into an existing account if you haven't done so already.GameRanger should automatically detect the game but it's best to make sure due to the many PC setups people have that could potentially affect this. I'd like to experience something like that again. This section tells how to see if GameRanger is detecting the Vegas 2 game install and where it's installed. Nothing ever beats the 1v3,1v4,1v5 clutches.nothing. But here we are at Year 5? Of it's continued support, Ubisoft have definitely convinced me that if they ever make a Siege 2 or just update it the way they have similar to Fortnite and CSGO that I would have a really happy home. But I was always hesitant on buying it, i would always find excuses to play something else thinking it would fade away and another game would take it's place. Vegas 1 and 2 were some awesome shooters back on the 360, and the limited time I experienced with Siege though not the exact same, reminded me of those times. I occasionally try CSGO since the arcade types failed me and the commitment and teamplay that CSGO offers is what I would love but I've bounced off of it so many times.īut there's always been one game that's floated around my circle of friends, both console and PC and in the twitch streams I watched and that was R6 Siege. The only thing that ever really scratched my itch was more arcadey shooters but there isn't any on the market that's not Call of Duty which never evolved from Cod4 and Apex which never got a real network update from it's launch date. CSGO with its infinite skill ceiling and weird bullet patterns, PUBG ran like crap and was filled with hackers when I played it(I'm sure its all roses now but that ship has sailed) and fortnite is just not my cup of tea. Friends I haven't talked to in years went from game to game having fun with each other but I never had any interest in them. I eventually got into Dota 2 and that's all i've played for a few years. I realized that once my favourite ps3 shooters died (uncharted 2 and killzone 2) that there would be nowhere for me to go. I've been looking for a deeper, slightly more granular shooter since my days of multiplayer gaming back on the ps3.
